Junior strojar (m/ž)

About the role

SMART ROBOTICS is looking for a motivated junior mechanical engineer (strojar) to join its team in Zagreb. You will work on industrial robotics, automation projects and advanced technological solutions, gaining hands‑on experience from concept to production.

Key responsibilities

• Create 3D models of parts and assemblies using CAD tools.
• Prepare and refine technical drawings and workshop documentation.
• Design simple mechanical structures and supporting components.
• Develop and adapt robotic and automation systems.
• Produce construction elements, brackets, fixtures and protective parts.
• Prepare production documentation and coordinate with manufacturing and suppliers.
• Assist in material and component selection.
• Participate in assembly, testing and troubleshooting of prototypes.
• Contribute to the development of new products and technological solutions.

Required profile

• Completed secondary school or university studies in mechanical engineering.
• Basic to good knowledge of Fusion 360 and/or Autodesk Inventor.
• Understanding of technical drawing and mechanical construction principles.
• Ability to read and create technical documentation.
• Strong attention to detail, responsibility and independence.
• Interest in machines, robotics, automation and production.
• Willingness to learn, solve technical problems and work in a team.
