Junior Accountant – Zagreb

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Junior Accountant to join our Zagreb team. You will support day‑to‑day accounting processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance while gaining exposure to real‑estate portfolio accounting.

Key responsibilities

• Process accounting transactions and maintain accurate accounting records.
• Assist with customer and vendor account reconciliations (open‑item statements).
• Support general ledger accounting and fixed‑asset management.
• Help prepare financial and regulatory reports.
• Participate in month‑end and year‑end closing activities.
• Collaborate with auditors, advisors, and internal stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal procedures.

Required profile

• University degree or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance or a related field.
• 1–2 years of accounting experience (internship or student experience acceptable).
• Understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
• Strong attention to detail, accountability and willingness to learn.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage routine processes efficiently.

Required skills

• Strong MS Office skills, especially Excel.
• Experience with SAP (preferred).
