Junior Accountant / Bookkeeper (m/ž)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Junior Accountant/Bookkeeper to join our finance team in Zagreb. The successful candidate will support all accounting and bookkeeping activities, ensuring accurate and timely processing of financial documents.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and post outgoing invoices and record incoming invoices.
• Enter and reconcile bank statements and other supporting documentation.
• Manage timely exchange of accounting documentation, tax filings, and reports.
• Assist in the preparation of statutory financial statements.
• Support the creation of the year‑end closing accounts.
• Help prepare management and owner financial reporting.
• Monitor changes in Croatian accounting, finance, and tax legislation.

Required profile

• Relevant work experience in accounting.
• Completed higher education in economics, finance or accounting (VŠS/VSS/SSS).
• High motivation, dedication and ability to work under pressure.
• Strong analytical skills and willingness for continuous professional development.
• Team player with the ability to meet tight deadlines.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with the Pantheon ERP business system (preferred).
