About the role

We are looking for a motivated and responsible civil engineering graduate to join our team in Split as a trainee. The position offers hands‑on experience on real construction projects under the guidance of experienced engineers. You will gain practical insight into how a real construction site operates and develop professional competencies essential for a civil engineering career.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in analysing project documentation with mentor support.
• Help prepare cost calculations and tender estimates.
• Collect and compare subcontractor and supplier offers.
• Participate in the preparation of contractual and project documents.
• Support cost and budget monitoring for projects.
• Occasionally visit construction sites to observe progress.
• Learn to maintain the construction diary and other statutory paperwork.
• Communicate and collaborate with project team members under mentor supervision.
• Gradually take part in project organisation, tracking deadlines, costs and quality.
• Perform other related tasks as directed by the mentor.

Required profile

• University degree in Civil Engineering (B.Sc. or M.Sc.).
• Willingness to learn, responsible attitude and good team spirit.
• No prior work experience required.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite.
