Independent Field Sales Consultant

About the role

Help local businesses grow while building your own business. As an Independent Field Sales Consultant you will introduce entrepreneurs to SumUp’s payment and POS solutions, managing your own schedule and territory.

Key responsibilities

• Acquire new merchants through face-to-face field sales, prospecting and cold acquisition.
• Visit local businesses such as cafés, restaurants, salons and boutiques.
• Present SumUp’s solutions and demonstrate their benefits for daily operations.
• Build trusted, long‑term relationships with local entrepreneurs.
• Manage your own sales pipeline and turn opportunities into new customer partnerships.
• Organise your territory and daily activities independently to maximise success.
• Develop and grow your own customer portfolio over time.

Required profile

• Previous experience in B2B, field or direct sales.
• Strong communication, negotiation and relationship‑building skills.
• Self‑motivated, ambitious and entrepreneurial mindset.
• Confidence in cold acquisition and generating new business.
• Discipline to work independently and take responsibility for results.
• Valid category B driving licence and willingness to travel within the territory.
• Fluent Croatian and good working proficiency in English.
• Existing Croatian company/sole proprietorship or willingness to register one.
