HVAC Tester (m/ž)

About the role

The HVAC Tester supports the verification and functional testing of HVAC equipment at Vertiv Croatia. Working on the shop floor, you will assist senior testers and engineers to ensure that all systems meet quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform functional checks and testing of HVAC equipment, including FAT preparation.
• Set up test stations, install measurement instruments (temperature probes, manometers, flow meters) and record data.
• Communicate test findings promptly to senior testers or supervisors.
• Document results according to QA/QC and project standards, update test forms and defect logs.
• Maintain and calibrate testing tools, follow LOTO and other safety procedures.
• Support a clean and safe test environment and collaborate closely with engineering and quality teams.

Required profile

• Minimum a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with at least 1 year of experience, or a high‑school diploma with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Solid understanding of electrical and HVAC systems.
• Practical problem‑solving ability and logical thinking.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
• Advanced proficiency in English.

Required skills

• Electrical installation, maintenance and testing of equipment above 250 V and 220 V.
• HVAC system testing and functional verification.
• Use of temperature probes, pressure gauges (manometers) and flow meters.
• QA/QC documentation and defect tracking.
• LOTO safety procedures.
