About the role

The hotel seeks a dedicated Gardener to maintain and enhance the beauty of its garden, green areas, flower beds, and other horticultural zones. You will work outdoors, ensuring the landscape reflects the hotel's high standards of aesthetics and guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Daily upkeep and design of the hotel garden, lawns, flower beds, and horticultural zones.
• Planting, watering, fertilising, pruning, and caring for flowers, shrubs, trees, and ornamental plants.
• Mowing and maintaining grass areas.
• Managing Mediterranean and seasonal vegetation, including timely replacement and supplementation.
• Monitoring plant health, detecting diseases and pests, and applying appropriate protection measures.
• Participating in seasonal garden planning and aesthetic improvements.
• Keeping pathways, terraces, and surrounding spaces tidy.
• Responsible use, maintenance, and care of tools, machinery, and equipment.
• Performing additional tasks as directed by supervisors.

Required profile

• Preferred education in horticulture, gardening, agronomy or a related field.
• Previous experience in garden or horticultural maintenance.
• Good knowledge of plant cultivation, pruning, fertilisation, and care.
• Ability to recognise basic plant diseases and pests and apply suitable treatments.
• Independent, reliable, and responsible work attitude.
• Strong sense of order, aesthetics and attention to detail.
• Proactive in organising work according to seasonal garden needs.
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Team‑player with professional communication skills.
