Financial Business Analyst - Power BI & Data Analysis

About the role

Eurofins Scientific is looking for an IT Business Analyst and Power BI / Fabric developer for its Finance Reporting & Analytics team in Rijeka. The role owns reporting and analytics solutions end to end, working with Finance stakeholders on P&L, balance sheet, cost control, budgeting, forecasting and management accounting reporting. It combines business analysis with hands-on technical delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Act as primary IT partner for Finance reporting domains and gather, analyse and document business requirements.
• Own reports, dashboards, KPIs, datasets and analytics products throughout their lifecycle.
• Identify source systems and data owners, design scalable reporting solutions and build semantic models, business calculations and reusable datasets.
• Build ETL/ELT components, Fabric artifacts, Power BI reports and dashboards, and deliver proof of concepts and MVPs.
• Ensure data quality, reconciliation, user acceptance testing and production readiness, and maintain documentation.
• Manage enhancements, change requests and report optimisation.

Required profile

• Minimum 4-7 years of experience in BI, analytics, finance systems or business analysis roles.
• Strong combination of business analysis and solution development.
• Experience managing reporting products end to end and communicating with finance business users and technical teams.
• Fluent English.

Required skills

• Hands-on Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, SQL and DAX.
• Data modelling.
• Solid understanding of finance and controlling processes.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX2012, D365 Finance & Operations or equivalent ERP solutions.

What we offer

• Fixed-term contract of 12 months, extendable by another 12 months.
• B2B contract at 250-270 EUR per day, or fixed-term employment at 10,000-12,000 RON net per month.
