Electrical Engineer – Hardware Design

About the role

We are looking for an Electrical Engineer specialized in hardware design to join our automation engineering team in Zagreb. The role bridges internal and external stakeholders, delivering hardware projects using Siemens COMOS and EPLAN 2024 while ensuring technical quality and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the main point of contact between the automation engineering team and internal/external stakeholders.
• Independently deliver customer hardware projects using Siemens COMOS and EPLAN 2024.
• Own project execution, meeting deadlines, budgets, and technical requirements.
• Support sales by estimating engineering effort and assisting project planning.
• Manage and maintain electrical circuit diagrams, tracking all changes.
• Coordinate planning and manufacturing of control cabinets, ensuring quality and timely delivery.
• Drive continuous improvement of engineering processes, standards, and products.

Required profile

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
• Experience in electrical circuit design and control cabinet planning, preferably with Siemens COMOS and EPLAN.
• Ability to read and interpret P&ID diagrams.
• Basic understanding of process engineering (preferred).
• Independent, structured, customer‑oriented work approach.
• Confident English communication skills and willingness to travel occasionally (less than 5%).
