About the role

The Risk and Process Expert will play a pivotal role in developing and enhancing the risk management system of Zagrebački holding, with a strong focus on ESG (environmental, social, and governance) risks. You will support business units in aligning operations with regulatory requirements and sustainability best practices.

Key responsibilities

• Organise and maintain the strategic and operational risk management system.
• Develop methodologies for risk identification, measurement and monitoring.
• Analyse environmental and climate impacts of projects and investments.
• Design and assess measures to prevent, avoid or control identified risks.
• Coordinate risk measurement processes with organisational units.
• Oversee implementation of risk mitigation actions.
• Maintain the Risk Register and produce risk‑related analyses and reports.
• Draft and revise policies, guidelines, procedures and work instructions for risk control.
• Provide consultancy on business process improvement and documentation.
• Support process owners with KPI monitoring, reporting and optimisation.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in risk management, ESG assessment or related fields.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills across departments.
• Ability to work independently and drive initiatives forward.

Required skills

• Knowledge of ESG risk frameworks and sustainability standards.
• Familiarity with risk register maintenance and reporting.
• Experience in developing risk assessment methodologies.
• Understanding of process modelling and KPI mapping.
