Design Structural Engineer (m/f)

About the role

Vertiv Croatia is looking for a Design Structural Engineer to lead and support structural design activities on projects of varying complexity. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop safe, compliant, and cost‑effective structural solutions for our products and installations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop conceptual and detailed structural designs, including static and dynamic calculations, 3D models, and detailed drawings.
• Prepare project documentation such as material submittals, specifications, and marketing presentations while adhering to international, national, and company standards.
• Participate in kick‑off, project team, and on‑site coordination meetings; generate RFIs when clarification is needed.
• Review and verify workshop documentation from subcontractors and specify bills of material, required certificates, and services.
• Support suppliers during the bidding phase, approve technical offers, and provide technical assistance to subcontractors and installers.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, site deployment, quality control, and commissioning engineers throughout the project lifecycle.
• Lead or coordinate other structural engineers on low to medium complexity projects.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Structural Engineering.
• 2–5 years of experience in structural engineering design.
• Proficiency in English (minimum B2 level).
• Ability to work independently, manage projects, and collaborate within a team.
