Country Manager for Adria Region (m/f)

About the role

ExCEEd Orphan is seeking a Country Manager to lead its business across the Adria region, focusing on rare diseases and specialty therapies. You will develop and execute regional business plans, identify growth opportunities and coordinate activities across markets.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver business plans for the Adria region with clear market priorities.
• Take responsibility for commercial performance, sales forecasts and agreed budgets.
• Assess market opportunities and prepare launch plans with regional teams.
• Build and maintain relationships with healthcare institutions, professionals and partners.
• Support local pricing, reimbursement and tender activities with Market Access colleagues.
• Coordinate with Marketing and Medical Affairs to deliver local activities and materials.
• Work with Operations and distribution partners on demand planning and product availability.
• Monitor market developments, performance and recommend plan adjustments.
• Lead and develop local team members and coordinate external partners.
• Ensure activities comply with requirements and company policies.

Required profile

• Experience in the pharmaceutical industry with commercial responsibility at country or regional level.
• Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical markets and healthcare systems in the Adria region.
• Experience in rare diseases or specialty care is an advantage.
• Experience with product launches and market access initiatives.
• Business planning, forecasting and budget management skills.
• Ability to build relationships and coordinate across functions and countries.
• Patient‑focused, responsible approach to business decisions.
• Fluent English and proficiency in relevant local language(s).
• Willingness to travel regularly across the territory.
• Relevant degree in life sciences, pharmacy, medicine, business or related discipline.
