About the role

We are looking for an experienced Customs Declarant to join our international freight forwarding team in Rijeka. You will be responsible for preparing and processing customs declarations, ensuring smooth import and export procedures for our clients.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and process customs declarations for import and export shipments.
• Conduct customs clearance procedures in accordance with current regulations.
• Prepare, verify, and manage customs and transport documentation.
• Communicate with customs authorities, clients, carriers, and other stakeholders in international transport.
• Monitor customs processes and stay up‑to‑date with applicable legislation.
• Perform additional tasks related to international freight forwarding and customs representation.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience as a customs declarant.
• Strong knowledge of customs procedures and documentation.
• Ability to work independently on customs clearance tasks.
• High level of responsibility, precision, and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication skills and a professional attitude toward clients.
• Proficiency in English.
