Butcher (m/f)

About the role

We are looking for a skilled butcher to join our meat processing plant in Vrbovec. The successful candidate will work on slaughter and cutting lines, ensuring high‑quality meat preparation for packaging and sale.

Key responsibilities

• Perform butchery tasks on slaughter and cutting lines, including trimming, cutting, and air‑saw sawing.
• Separate, cut, and process meat and meat parts (trimming, cutting, air‑saw, bone cleaning, weighing and labeling).
• Operate and monitor machinery such as band saws, trimming machines, and skin‑peeling equipment.
• Assist with weighing operations and maintain accurate records.
• Maintain hygiene and cleanliness of the work area and equipment, including knife sterilization.
• Follow the technological flow of fresh meat production.

Required profile

• KV/SSS certification or equivalent.
• Previous experience in similar butchery positions or completed vocational training for butchers.
• Willingness to work with both pork and beef processing lines.
• Precision, responsibility and ability to work in a team.
