Business Development & Operations Manager, Croatia and Slovenia

About the role

SGS Adriatica d.o.o. is seeking a Business Development & Operations Manager to lead growth and operational performance across Croatia and Slovenia. The role combines commercial leadership with P&L responsibility, driving market expansion and client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Lead SGS business growth and development across Croatia and Slovenia.
• In Slovenia, oversee P&L performance, operational effectiveness, and achievement of financial objectives.
• In Croatia, drive commercial growth, market expansion, and business development initiatives.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and services.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
• Lead commercial activities to increase revenue and market share.
• Represent SGS and ensure compliance with company policies, standards, and values.

Required profile

• Master's degree in Business Management, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in business development, sales management, or a similar commercial leadership role.
• Experience in a B2B service environment is a strong advantage.
• Proven track record of achieving revenue growth and commercial targets.
• Fluent in English; knowledge of Croatian and/or Slovenian is an advantage.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
• Excellent analytical and leadership capabilities.
• High level of professionalism, responsibility, and integrity.
