Business Development Manager – Sales & Client Acquisition

About the role

We are seeking a Business Development Manager to drive sales and expand our client portfolio in the freight forwarding sector. Based in Zagreb, you will act as the company’s representative to third parties and collaborate closely with internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct active sales and business development within the assigned territory.
• Identify and acquire new clients, building and maintaining a robust portfolio.
• Present company services and negotiate contracts with prospects.
• Represent CARGO‑PARTNER’s interests before third parties.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of proven sales experience, preferably in freight forwarding or related logistics.
• Higher education in commercial or business studies.
• Deep industrial knowledge is an advantage.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Category B driver’s licence.
• Ability to train colleagues on SPOT and CRM platforms.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in MS Office.
• Hands‑on experience with SPOT system.
• Experience using CRM systems.
