Assistant in Accounting and Controlling (m/f)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated trainee to support our accounting and controlling team in Zagreb. The position offers hands‑on experience with daily bookkeeping, partner data management and preparation of financial reports, under the guidance of experienced colleagues.

Key responsibilities

• Enter incoming and outgoing invoices into the accounting system
• Enter and update business partner data
• Post bank statements
• Record travel orders and cash documents
• Assist in reconciling balances and open items
• Support preparation of monthly controlling reports
• Participate in data collection for financial statements
• Perform other accounting tasks as directed by the manager

Required profile

• Completed university degree or secondary school (economics background preferred)
• Good computer literacy, especially MS Excel
• Accuracy, precision and responsibility
• Willingness to learn and develop
• Knowledge of Pantheon is a plus (not mandatory)
