About the role

Garmin Croatia is looking for an organized and analytical Assistant Finance Manager to support the Finance Manager in daily financial processes and gradually take on more complex tasks within the finance department.

Key responsibilities

• Organise and control the entry of incoming and outgoing invoices.
• Monitor customer and supplier account balances.
• Prepare compensation statements and payment files.
• Handle material expense cash register.
• Prepare and control travel orders.
• Maintain records of fixed assets and small inventory.
• Reconcile daily retail turnover, cash deposits and card payments.
• Perform goods‑material accounting.
• Co‑operate with external accounting services, banks and other institutions.
• Verify the accuracy of every entry in the financial books.
• Prepare and control payroll calculations.
• Participate in the preparation of documentation for the annual audit.
• Monitor stock and material values and take part in inventories.
• Provide administrative support to financial processes.
• Follow legal and tax regulations related to finance and taxation.

Required profile

• Secondary or higher education in economics, finance or accounting.
• Good knowledge of tax and accounting regulations (HSFI/MSFI).
• Preferably 3‑5 years of experience in finance or accounting.
• Strong organisational abilities and precision.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Good command of English.
