About the role

The Tool Keeper is responsible for the systematic receipt, labeling, recording, and storage of tools and equipment in the workshop toolroom. The role ensures that all items are accurately tracked in the database and are readily available for production needs.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, label, record, and store tools and equipment.
• Enter data of newly received items into the database.
• Organize placement and storage of tools and equipment.
• Conduct inventory of all tools from the database (toolroom/lockers).
• Prepare lists of tools and equipment for write‑off and disposal.
• Prepare lists of tools and equipment needed for replenishment.
• Issue tools, maintain records of issued tools, and track employee responsibility lists.
• Inspect tool condition and perform maintenance.

• Neatness in organization, storage, and maintenance of tools and equipment.
• Accuracy in records, issuing, and timely inventories.
• Ability to meet deadlines for assigned tasks.
• Familiarity with tools, materials, products, and work processes.
• Care for assigned tools and equipment.
• Teamwork and good communication.
• Self‑reliance, adaptability, and initiative.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office and internet tools.
