Accountant & SAP Implementation Specialist

About the role

This position combines day‑to‑day accounting duties with the responsibility of leading the SAP Business ByDesign ERP implementation for the finance and supply‑chain areas of the local organization. You will act as a bridge between finance, procurement, sales and logistics, ensuring a smooth transition to the new system.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the SAP Business ByDesign rollout, focusing on finance and supply‑chain processes.
• Execute core accounting tasks such as AP, AR, credit note processing and VAT reporting.
• Participate in system configuration, master‑data preparation, testing, validation and go‑live activities.
• Organise user training sessions and provide post‑implementation support.
• Monitor project timelines, identify risks and resolve issues to keep the implementation on track.
• Maintain communication across departments to integrate finance, sales, procurement and warehouse functions.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of professional accounting experience.
• Hands‑on experience with SAP Business ByDesign, preferably having contributed to at least one ERP implementation.
• Strong understanding of finance, accounting, procurement, sales and logistics processes.
• Proven analytical, organizational and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent English communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
