3D Piping Designer / Engineer (m/f)

About the role

We are seeking a motivated 3D Piping Designer / Engineer to join our engineering team in Zagreb. The role involves creating and maintaining detailed 3D piping models for international projects across Europe, ensuring compliance with specifications and standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain 3D piping models using industry‑standard CAD software.
• Produce piping layouts, isometric drawings, P&IDs and related technical documentation.
• Coordinate designs with multidisciplinary engineering teams and participate in model reviews and clash detection.
• Utilise laser scanning, point‑cloud data and BIM tools on selected projects.
• Verify that designs meet project specifications and engineering standards.

Required profile

• Technical secondary education or a Bachelor/Master degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• At least 2 years of professional experience in 3D piping design within process, pharmaceutical, chemical, food, energy or related industries.
• Good command of English (minimum B1/B2); German is a plus.
• Proactive, detail‑oriented and able to work effectively in a team.

Required skills

• AutoCAD Plant 3D, AVEVA E3D, Revit, SmartPlant 3D or CADWorx.
• Understanding of industrial piping systems and P&IDs.
• Experience with laser scanning, point‑cloud processing and BIM environments.
