Technical Consultant – SQL

About the role

SD Worx is seeking a Technical Consultant (SQL) to join its growing team in Zagreb. In this hybrid position you will combine strong SQL expertise with a consultative mindset, collaborating closely with developers, business analysts and clients to deliver robust HR technology solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and optimise SQL‑based components for the HRnet platform.
• Support and troubleshoot database‑related issues in production environments.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Participate in code reviews, performance tuning and data migration activities.
• Provide technical guidance and best‑practice recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with a passion for solving complex data problems.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
