Scada Development Engineer (m/f)

About the role

We are looking for a passionate software engineer to develop and maintain our SCADA product RITOP, based on Siemens WinCC OA. The role focuses on industrial applications for critical water and energy infrastructures.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain RITOP using object‑oriented technologies such as C#, C++, CTRL++ and SQL.
• Implement new features and modernise existing components, including web front‑ends with JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Analyse and resolve complex technical issues in product and customer installations.
• Contribute to software architecture, technical concepts and design for future product versions.
• Plan and execute unit, integration and system tests, and support code reviews.
• Collaborate with product owners, engineering, support and development teams in an agile environment.
• Continuously improve development processes, tools and software quality.

Required profile

• University degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or Electrical/Automation Engineering.
• 3‑5 years of experience in object‑oriented development with C# and/or C++ on Windows.
• Good English communication skills; German at least B2 level.
• Analytical, structured approach and strong initiative in team settings.
