About the role

LIBUSOFT CICOM is looking for a Business Application Programmer to join its hybrid team in Zagreb. You will take part in the full software development lifecycle, collaborating with analysts, product owners and fellow developers to deliver high‑quality business solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze requirements, design, code, test and review software components.
• Participate in daily stand‑ups, retrospectives and regular team meetings.
• Identify, report and help resolve bugs and performance issues.
• Suggest and implement process improvements together with the department lead.
• Assist in task estimation, delivery planning and onboarding of new team members.
• Contribute to internal technical presentations and knowledge‑sharing sessions.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of professional software development experience.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Analytical mindset with logical reasoning and systematic problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Java programming (Hibernate ORM, Spring Framework, JPA2).
• Web technologies: Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, CSS.
• Relational databases, preferably MS SQL Server.
• Git version‑control system.
• Proficiency in English.
