Data and Analytics Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Data and Analytics Engineer to join our team in Zagreb. In this role you will work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to turn business needs into data‑driven solutions, supporting our orthopedics and medical‑device portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand processes, requirements and analytical needs.
• Translate business requirements into data, analytics and AI‑enabled solutions.
• Design, develop and maintain enterprise data‑warehouse solutions, data models and integration processes.
• Implement and maintain BI and analytics solutions, including Power BI semantic models, datasets, reports, dashboards and analytical data products.
• Integrate, transform and prepare data from ERP, CRM and other enterprise systems for analytical use.
• Support data quality, governance, security and compliance activities.
• Identify opportunities where data, automation and AI can improve business processes and decision‑making.
• Leverage modern AI tools for requirement analysis, data exploration, documentation and development.
• Continuously learn new technologies, business processes and analytical approaches while collaborating globally.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Informatics, Economics, Engineering or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with a talent for structuring complex topics.
• Curiosity about business operations and how data supports decision‑making.
• Comfortable working with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across teams and functions.
• Self‑motivated learner who takes initiative and enjoys solving business problems.
• Ability to work in an international environment.
• Proficiency in English.
