About the role

We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to lead the accounting function for a reputable Croatian manufacturing company. The role involves overseeing all bookkeeping activities, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing advisory support to senior management.

Key responsibilities

• Review and verify accounting documents, perform postings and data entry.
• Enter incoming and outgoing invoices, travel orders and cash transactions.
• Monitor and apply relevant legal and tax regulations.
• Archive financial documentation in an orderly manner.
• Execute payroll calculations and manage payment transactions.
• Provide advisory support to board members.
• Calculate VAT and prepare final accounts.

Required profile

• Several years of experience as a senior accountant.
• Higher education in economics (VŠS/VSS).
• Excellent command of English (B2/C1).
• Strong organizational and communication abilities.
• Proactive, independent, and able to take initiative.
• Team‑player attitude.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office suite.
