About the role

Fliba d.o.o. is looking for a senior accounting professional to lead tax reporting, financial statement preparation and statutory compliance for its operations in Zagreb.

Key responsibilities

• Calculate and file tax obligations, including VAT and corporate tax.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
• Produce statistical reports for the Croatian National Bank (HNB) and the State Bureau of Statistics (DZS).
• Monitor and implement changes in tax and legal regulations affecting the company.
• Ensure bookkeeping records comply with current laws and accounting standards.
• Participate in audits and cooperate with external auditors.

Required profile

• Higher education in economics, finance or accounting.
• At least 10 years of experience in similar accounting positions.
• Strong knowledge of financial and tax legislation.
• Analytical mindset with high attention to detail.
• Strategic thinking and ability to make business decisions.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong command of the MS Office suite.
