SQL Analyst (m/f)

About the role

SD Worx Croatia is looking for a proactive SQL Analyst to join its Customer Support team in Zagreb. You will be responsible for investigating data inconsistencies, debugging database issues, and ensuring the stability of the HRnet application used by thousands of customers across Europe.

Key responsibilities

• Investigate data inconsistencies and unexpected system behaviour.
• Write and optimise SQL queries to analyse and validate data.
• Debug issues directly in the database and identify root causes.
• Own investigations end‑to‑end, from initial signal to root‑cause identification.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, implementation and development teams to resolve complex problems.
• Translate technical findings into clear explanations for customers and internal stakeholders.
• Spot patterns, anomalies and opportunities for improvement, suggesting structural fixes.
• Perform data control and verification activities to maintain high data‑quality standards.

Required profile

• Strong working knowledge of SQL, including joins, aggregations, subqueries and query debugging.
• Comfort working with large datasets and relational databases.
• Problem‑solver mindset with the ability to investigate issues independently.
• Attention to detail, persistence and good communication skills.
• Fluent in Croatian/Serbian and English.
