About the role

We are looking for a Mechanical Installation Designer / Assistant to join our engineering team in Zagreb. You will develop concept solutions, prepare detailed designs and supervise the implementation of mechanical systems in building projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop conceptual solutions and define project tasks for mechanical systems.
• Prepare main and execution designs, including as‑built documentation.
• Clarify equipment requirements in collaboration with the client and building architect.
• Analyze conditions influencing system selection and characteristics.
• Establish functional concepts for installation systems.
• Assess the impact of system dimensions on building form and function.
• Create project implementation schedules.
• Organise and supervise site work according to professional standards.
• Plan and control contracted projects within agreed deadlines and budgets.
• Handle general correspondence and assist in preparing technical review documentation.
• Participate in bid preparation and cooperate with installation managers, other project leaders and the procurement department.
• Continuously propose improvements and perform any other tasks assigned by the director or supervisor.

Required profile

• University degree (VŠS/VSS) in a relevant field.
• Several years of experience in design and supervision of mechanical installations (GHV and VIK).
• Team‑player attitude, honesty, reliability and persuasiveness.
• Good computer knowledge (Office, CAD, AX3000).
• Negotiation and presentation skills.
• Valid B‑category driver’s licence.
