About the role

The company is looking for a responsible, organized and proactive Deputy Logistics and Frozen Warehouse Manager. Working closely with the Warehouse Manager, you will help organise and coordinate daily warehouse and logistics processes, ensuring efficient and safe operations of the frozen storage facility.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the Logistics and Warehouse Manager’s substitute during their absence.
• Organise and coordinate daily work of warehouse staff, assigning tasks and monitoring completion.
• Oversee receipt, storage, picking, and dispatch of goods, with special attention to frozen products.
• Monitor temperature, storage conditions and react promptly to any deviations.
• Manage stock rotation using FIFO/FEFO principles, track lot numbers and expiry dates.
• Control quantity and quality of incoming and outgoing goods.
• Maintain inventory records, support periodic stocktakes and use the warehouse/ERP system for documentation.
• Coordinate with purchasing, sales, transport and other departments.
• Analyse process efficiency and propose improvements.
• Ensure cleanliness, organisation and safety of the warehouse area.
• Implement HACCP procedures, internal rules and occupational safety measures.
• Resolve operational issues and report to the manager in a timely manner.

Required profile

• Minimum secondary education; preferably logistics, economics, trade or related field.
• Experience in warehouse and logistics operations, preferably in a supervisory or shift‑lead role.
• Strong sense of responsibility, independence and organisational abilities.
• Ability to manage and motivate staff effectively.
• Willingness to work in a cold/frozen environment and on shift schedules.
• Driving licence category B is an advantage.
• Quick decision‑making in unexpected situations, precision and result‑orientation.

Required skills

• Experience with WMS (Warehouse Management System) and ERP systems.
• Basic to good computer literacy.
