About the role

As a Senior Financial Operations Specialist you will join the Finance Activities Centre of PLIVA Hrvatska, supporting multiple companies within the Teva group. You will be responsible for ensuring accurate cost recording, month‑end and quarter‑end closing, and compliance with accounting policies.

Key responsibilities

• Record accrued costs and prepare data for posting and supporting documentation.
• Assist month‑end and quarter‑end closing activities for numerous Teva group entities.
• Analyze account variances, prepare explanations and monthly reports.
• Prepare and review account reconciliations to ensure alignment with policies.
• Support the local team in standardising processes and addressing posting queries.
• Provide documentation for internal and external audits as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Accounting, Auditing or Finance.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting and/or audit.
• Strong understanding of accounting and reporting processes.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.

Required skills

• Experience with SAP (preferred).
• Knowledge of Sarbanes‑Oxley compliance and internal control concepts.
• Familiarity with US GAAP principles.
