About the role

We are looking for a Technical Preparation and Sales Specialist to join our laser engineering company in Zagreb. The role combines planning of material cutting operations with direct customer interaction and order management.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and program material cutting in the ERP system and machine control software.
• Combine work orders to optimise material and machine utilisation.
• Generate automatic nesting, cutting lists and G‑code for laser cutting.
• Adjust cutting schedules for optimal material consumption and label material leftovers for storage.
• Transfer data between ERP and machine software and prepare required documentation.
• Handle customer inquiries (email, phone, face‑to‑face), prepare and send quotations.
• Create sales orders and work orders in the ERP system.
• Include additional services (bending, milling, laminating) in offers.
• Inform customers about order status, delays and related issues.
• Apply discount and credit policies based on customer creditworthiness.
• Monitor receivables, contact overdue customers and propose collection actions.

Required profile

• Strong communication skills and goal‑oriented attitude.
• Proactive approach to finding optimal solutions for clients and the company.
• Fluent spoken and written English and/or German.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with internet tools and ERP systems.
