Sales Associate / Shop Assistant (m/f)

About the role

We are looking for a friendly and proactive Sales Associate to join our small, close‑knit team at a specialty food store in Zagreb. You will be the first point of contact for customers, helping them discover teas, spices and other culinary products.

Key responsibilities

• Engage daily with customers, offering personalized advice on product selection.
• Discuss teas, spices, recipes and cooking ideas, sharing knowledge about our range.
• Continuously learn about our product portfolio and communicate features, uses and benefits.
• Listen to customer needs and recommend suitable items.
• Receive, inspect and prepare merchandise for display.
• Maintain tidy, well‑stocked and attractive shelves.
• Operate the cash register, ensuring accurate transactions.
• Contribute to the overall functioning of the store and support team members.
