About the role

We are expanding our bakery in Zagreb and are looking for a friendly, reliable sales assistant to join our team. You will be the face of the shop, ensuring customers receive courteous service while maintaining a tidy and inviting sales area.

Key responsibilities

• Provide polite and professional assistance to customers.
• Operate the cash register, issue receipts and handle payments.
• Display, replenish and arrange bakery products attractively.
• Prepare and bake selected items according to company standards.
• Check product quality, freshness and correct labeling.
• Maintain high hygiene standards and keep the sales floor clean.

Required profile

• Excellent communication and customer‑service orientation.
• Organised, detail‑oriented and dependable.
• Willingness to work in a team and pursue a long‑term position.
• Previous retail or hospitality experience is a plus but not mandatory.

Required skills

• Operation of a point‑of‑sale (POS) cash register system.
