About the role

We are looking for a motivated Assistant Cook to join our kitchen team in Zagreb. You will support chefs in daily operations, ensuring food preparation and kitchen hygiene meet high standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in preparing ingredients and simple dishes.
• Maintain cleanliness of the work area, equipment, and restaurant spaces.
• Support chefs with routine kitchen tasks and follow instructions from supervisors.
• Report any equipment faults, shortages, or safety concerns.
• Ensure compliance with occupational safety, fire protection, and HACCP hygiene standards.
• Handle inventory requests and proper storage of work materials.

Required profile

• Completed vocational training in hospitality/cooking (KV/SSS).
• Relevant experience in similar kitchen roles.
• Accuracy, neatness, flexibility, and creativity.
• Strong focus on quality, guest satisfaction, and teamwork.
• High responsibility, systematic approach, and willingness to continuously learn.

Required skills

• HACCP knowledge.
