Oracle DBA / PL/SQL Developer

About the role

We are expanding our IT team and are looking for an Oracle DBA / PL/SQL Developer to join us in Zagreb. You will be responsible for the development, maintenance, and optimisation of Oracle databases and related application solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Administration, maintenance, installation and monitoring of Oracle databases.
• Development and maintenance of SQL and PL/SQL code, including procedures, functions, packages and queries.
• Performance analysis and optimisation of database workloads.
• Ensuring database availability, stability and security.
• Participating in the implementation of new functionalities and technical solutions.
• Troubleshooting technical issues in production environments.
• Collaborating with developers, system administrators and other IT team members.
• Contributing to continuous improvement of existing systems and processes.

Required profile

• Relevant experience working with Oracle databases.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL.
• Experience in Oracle database administration, installation and maintenance.
• Understanding of performance optimisation principles.
• Experience with backup and recovery processes.
• Analytical mindset and ability to solve problems independently.
• Responsible attitude and focus on quality.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
