About the role

We are looking for a friendly and attentive waiter to join our team at a well‑known grill restaurant in Zagreb. The role involves direct interaction with guests, ensuring a high standard of service and a pleasant dining experience.

Key responsibilities

• Serve food and beverages to guests according to the restaurant’s standards.
• Take orders and advise guests on menu items and drink selections.
• Prepare and set tables, maintaining a clean and orderly work environment.
• Handle cash register operations and process payments.
• Communicate actively with guests to guarantee satisfaction.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members for efficient restaurant operation.
• Observe and adhere to all hygiene regulations and standards.

Required profile

• Completed secondary school; hospitality studies are a plus.
• At least one year of experience in a similar role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Responsible, accurate, and detail‑oriented.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility and a customer‑focused attitude.
• Fluent in spoken and written Croatian.

Required skills

• Experience with POS (point‑of‑sale) systems.
